Community

The Tree House offers a variety of programs and takes part in many events which help build strong relationships with the local community and evoke a sense of belonging for the children.

We believe in mutually beneficial community partnerships such as our Adopt a Nan & Pop Program and Tafe/University student placements, where the centre, the children and our visitors all have something to offer and learn from each other. The children benefit from the knowledge and alternative point of view of our visitors and we provide an opportunity and environment to learn, develop specialist skills or simply enjoy some time with the children.

The centre also participates in many community and charity events where the children learn about helping their local community and grow an awareness of their place in that community.
