What can we do for all the families affected by the fires?

The Preschool children have really shown their interest in regards to the recent fires, discussing what they had seen on the news, the smoke in their air and what they had recently learned in Fire Prevention Week.

This afternoon the children initiated a conversation “Miss Eryn I think we should do something special for the people who lost their houses and dogs and cars”.  We then brainstormed ideas of ‘What we can do for all the families affected by the fires?’

This melts our hearts as it shows how compassionate and caring our children are and how aware they are of their surroundings we are so proud of them and look forward to finding ways we can help the families affected by the families.
